Blue DOES make GREEN...

IT'S A BOY! (or...OR a girl with issues about pink). The toy Under the Nile (organic Egyptian cotton) with a few 7th Generation chlorine free diapers (No dear, diapers aren't naturally white...that's chemicals). A pair of my handmade earrings (quartz, Swarovski, gold/sterling) because Mommy love is the GREATEST love of all. (I feel a Whitney moment bursting...nope, that was something else).

Other options are veggies (eggplant, broccoli, etc), fruit (bananas,grapes...) minimo dolls (different ethnicities), and baby buddies (great prints). Safe toys for the baby. A conscious gift. Wow, you are so 21st century. Maybe even 22nd.

Next word: FAIR TRADE
Know the meaning? Look into it. and Forward.

Green-er times

We are living in GREEN-er times. Okay, we are TRYING to live in green-er times. It's difficult, but maybe we can start with our future (pls hold back from breaking into We Are The World). This diaper gift is composed of:
7th Generation chlorine-free diapers
Under the Nile organic cotton toy*
Pair of quartz & swarovski sterling earrings

Wrapped in netting and there is no plastic or anything choke-able. Everyone loves to bring a gift for the baby, but we thought maybe a little nod to the Mommy would give her a boost since life is about to get sleepless. Earrings can always dress up a weary Mommy.

So the gift is mostly GREEN-ish, with the baby in mind. Colors will vary and so will toys. The earrings are standard, but custom pairs can be commisioned per order (fees apply)

Retail: $40 (Larger gifts are created upon request.)

*Tulle wrapping colors and toys will vary (Under the Nile veggies, fruit, baby buddies, minimo dolls)

Lara is a necklace that sat in my brain for ages. Then I sketched it. I didn't want any chain, but knots. So now it worked.
Copper is just a cool metal. I am not sure about the medical benefits. Just the style benefits.

No more tax and shipping fees! It just felt right. So what's next? I guess back to the inpsiration. What's my inspiration? Sometimes it's flipping through magazines to see what the clothing trend says. Other times it's just expanding on a sketch. I must say that matching sets aren't my forte. In fact, I really don't understand them. What's up with matching?
